Summary of Volunteer Meeting 9/18/08

*Open/close procedure (instructions in white logbook)
Morning-hang sign out front.
Check messages.
Turn on A/C or heat

Evening-Bring in sign
Turn off/down air or heat
Flip open/close sign. Fridays change time to 9am for Sat.
lock all doors
empty trash/clean up

*Donations/contribution slips
one for every contribution completely filled out
attach slip to cash securely

*Voter Registation
Oct. 10th cut off date to Register
Change Party needs to go to the election board
Roger turns forms in twice a week. Tuesdays and Fridays

*Ask Visitors to sign in and give them a copy of the "what's happening in Clevland County" sheet

*I am currently working on using Google Docs, Calendar, Forms etc in an effort to stream line our system. You should be getting emails with instuctions/links. If you get stuck or have any questions (or suggestions) don't hesitate to call me 405-818-3224. You should be able to access the volunteer group info and calendar and be able to update this info as well.

I will try to put any relevant info on this blog ASAP. You can post comments to the posts.

Today you will recieve a "LOG" Form via email. From that email you can log your entry one item at a time as many as needed. If you lose the email form, just let me know and I will send you another. This 1 form can be used indefinately.

The log book at the GOP HQ can be used for quick entries to be entered online later. We could also keep entering by hand and have the morning shift be responsible for entering data from the previous day. That way only one person would have to worry about logging per day.

Please give me your thoughts on this.
